• Performer Highlight: Anne Schaefer

Vancouver Island Pagan Pride welcomes Anne Schaefer!

Anne is a musician, facilitator, mystic and seeker based in Victoria, BC on Canada’s beautiful West Coast.

Born into a family of musicians in Saskatchewan, music has been Anne’s first and most natural language from the beginning. She has studied and explored many instruments, genres of music, combinations of players and is always astonished at the never ending gifts and beauty that music in all its’ forms, offers us. Anne’s experience of the world is that all things are energy, energy is vibration, vibration is frequency, frequency is sound and sound is Music. Everything is Music!!!

Since Music is that which we are, we are always empowered, healed, connected and enlivened by it, whether as a listener, creator, facilitator or performer. Anne has had the honour of facilitating and performing on three continents and is grateful beyond words for the infinite blessings of Music in her life. She is also grateful beyond words for the deep privilege of living and working in beautiful Victoria, B.C. on territories of the Songhees and Lekwungen speaking first peoples.

  • Workshop Highlight: Energetic Harmonics with Mur Windtalker

Vancouver Island Pagan Pride welcomes Mur Windtalker – Energetic Harmonics: Balancing the divergence of the Earth, Sky, Sun, & Moon!

A psychic practice session includes clairtangency, Qi Gong, and elements of ceremonial Magick. Here we’ll feel, direct and play with the elements as embodied by terrestrial and celestial energies. By evoking and directing the energetics of those forces we can create a state of balance and harmony mirroring the effects of a modern take on the qabalistic cross.

A playful workshop where we get to “feel” the presence and “direct” the flow of different and often divergent vibrational states of energy. We’ll be utilizing some tools from psychic development, qi gong, and ceremonial magick.

Mur Windtalker is a High Priest in the Temple of Witchcraft Tradition with over two decades of experience in Reiki and Energy Medicine. He has a background in Yoga, Buddhism, Core Shamanism & Traditional Chinese Medicine. His vocation in life manifests as Teacher & Healer, leading talks, classes, & workshops in his community & internationally.

    2023 Story

Brigid, Lady of the Flame, Keeper of the Well, Priestess of the Forge. Your song called forth the older-than-old-ones when the Earth dreamed of Beauty. You heard the voice of the people when they cried out for the land and the voice of the land when it cried out to the people. Brigid, you have been with us through the ages, sovereign and bright. Brigid, you persisted in the face of great peril and spread your mantle in every direction for the sake of the sacred.

Brigid, you know the magic of the threshold and we call to you in this threshold time.

Brigid, we carry our witches’ flame to your healing well.

Brigid, as we tell a story of your green mantle, we are tempered to make magic for the sovereignty of the land.
