Pagan Pride Day 2025

19th Annual Vancouver Island Pagan Pride Day
Saturday, August 9th, 2025
11 am – 4 pm

Robert V. Ostler Park
BC-19A, Campbell River, BC

Vancouver Island Pagan Pride Day announces that the 19th annual festival will move this summer to Campbell River, Enriched by Land and Sea! On Saturday, August 9th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, pagans from all over the island will gather to celebrate and Share the Harvest.

The day will feature an entertainment lineup of local musicians and performers, interspersed with rituals that the public are encouraged to participate in. There will be workshops and information tables from pagan organizations, with members ready to answer any of your questions. Plus, we’ll have a wide range of vendors with unique clothing, jewelry, artwork, pottery, organic soaps and skin care products, along with almost every pagan item and supply that you can think of!

Visitors will find lots to choose from with our readers and healers. Astrologers, psychics, tarot and oracle card readers will be at the park, along with reiki practitioners, crystal therapists and spiritual healers.

Musical entertainment includes performances by The Ruskins, Cat Kalyniuk, Zonnis Music, and the Canned Heat Dance Company.

“Paganism is an umbrella term that encompasses a wide range of earth-honouring spiritual paths, including Wicca, Druidry, Heathenry, ancient reconstructionism, and more,” said Mary Malinski, Archpriestess of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada. “Though our practices may vary, we are united by values of respect, diversity, and reverence for the natural world and all its beings. We are especially thrilled to be celebrating Pagan Pride Day right here in our hometown this year—and even more honoured that our local group, the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada, will be leading the main ritual. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together in community and share who we are with open hearts and open minds.”

Everyone attending the Pagan Pride festival is encouraged to actively demonstrate their reverence for our Mother Earth by using public transit, carpooling, cycling, or walking to the festival. And if you’ve never participated in a pagan ritual, this is a great opportunity to find out more!

The goal of Vancouver Island Pagan Pride Day is to foster pride in pagan identities through education, activism, charity, and community; these four inspirations align to the four elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. We embrace charity by collecting cash and non-perishable food donations for our Share the Harvest Cauldron, which is our way of giving back to our local communities. The recipient of donations collected through Share the Harvest this year is the Campbell River and District Food Bank Society. The Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada is now a registered Canadian charity and tax receipts for donations can be provided on request.

This event has allowed many to access information about Paganism as a religion and as a way of life in a safe environment. So join us to celebrate and share the harvest!
