Locally designed and handmade jewelry by Tracey Ernst, inspired by history and fantasy. Each piece of the five ranges is a touchstone to the past, to nature, or to times which never were.
Strange Gardens range focuses on the faery flowers and foliage one might find growing on the other side of dusk. Spirits Around Us are totemic animal and element pieces, with an admittedly strong focus on the corvid family in many pieces. Mudlark Tides is a range of actual touchstones to the past, created from artifacts I find on the foreshore of the Thames in London. Revisited Time is a steampunk- & Victorian-inspired line using re-purposed and new pieces to connect to a past which never was. Each piece of Remember the Suffragettes draws inspiration from the women’s suffrage movements, and is a tribute to the remarkable women who fought to bring equality to a deeply unequal world.
